Exclusive: Budapest-based sales costume Luminescence is on board Randolphzeini’s Indonesian horror film A woman called mother.
The film is set for the officially selected world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, which will take place from September 18th to 25th.
The film has been released in theaters in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand via Multivision Plus. The Indonesian release date is set to September 25th.
A woman called a mother It’s about teenage girls who move to a new city with their family for a fresh start after a difficult few years, but the demons that follow them are forced to confront their most primitive fears.
The film was produced by leading Indonesian media executive Pak Raam Punjabi through his production company Multivision Plus.
Director Randolph Zaini’s credits include the series catharsis Djoko Anwar’s nightmares and fantasies.
“We’ve been working hard to get the better of our customers,” said Juraj Barabas, managing director of Luminous. “I’m extremely excited to see Multivision Plus expand their collaboration with the legendary and undoubtedly respected company. Randolph is a very talented director. I wanted to be part of this film.
