With the adoption of a House resolution seeking to withdraw the termination of the Biden administration’s coal lease in the Powder River Basin of Montana, Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WYO.) is calling for similar measures to restore coal leases in the Wyoming span of the basin.
“When the Powder River Basin is off, America is off too,” Hageman said from the floor during a September 3 discussion at HR 104.
