Three seasons after 7-10, the Falcons fired Arthur Smith after 2023. For the 2024 season, they hired former defense coordinator Raheem Morris as their new head coach.
In his first season back with the Falcons, the team went 8-9, but failed to make the playoffs. Recently, Pro Bowl RB Bidjan Robinson spoke with Brian Deard of CBS Sports. The Falcons’ roundhouse discussed the issue of holding the team back the previous season. Robinson explained that Atlanta is “not a team looking ahead anymore.”

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson was interviewed with Bryan Deardo of CBS Sports. Robinson admitted the fact that Atlanta had problems the previous season. They are so focused and interested in making playoffs and what’s going forward. This offseason, Robinson said the Falcon has changed his mindset. He explained how important it is for the Falcons to take the season as a weekly approach.
In the past, Bijan said the team has focused on Hyper on winning the NFL South and playing playoff runs. Robinson pointed out that it wasn’t a recipe for success in Atlanta. He believes that if Falcon continues to be true and you don’t get too concerned about the big picture, everything will fall into place. The team thought the problem was resolved in 2024.

He was on the bench for rookie QB Michael Penix Junior after starting the first 14 games of the season. Cousins is a backup, and Penix starts in 2025. They have a talented roster in 2025, but there is a ton of pressure on QBs. This is his first season as a full-time starter for Penix.
The young quarterback doesn’t have to be a superman for the Falcons next season. Atlanta has one of the top RBs in the game against Bijan Robinson. He finished in 2024 with 1,4596 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns. Additionally, he added 61 catches and one touchdown for 431 yards.
