A new report from the White House Economic Advisors Council found that despite overall prices of goods rising over the same period, imported goods prices fell in the first five months of the year, and President Donald Trump’s tariff policies are driving higher inflation.
“Imported goods are actually cheaper,” Steve Milan, chairman of the Economic Advisory Council, said in an interview on July 8th about the findings of a report with Fox News.
