The Sarajevo Film Festival is set to open along with the world premiere of Dino Mustafic’s dark comedy Pavilion August 15th.

Mustafic said the film “bringed a large regional cast of famous actors,” saying that both the author and producers come from the Balkans. “This is a film about the oldest generation who chose to act according to the conscience of today’s world,” he added. “They are standing up in rebellion. And the rebellion comes in essentially all forms. This is different. If you watch the film, you know why.”

The film was made with support for co-production with the Ministry of Culture and Sports in Sarajevo Canton, the Sarajevo Film Fund, the Audiovisual Centre in Croatia, the North Macedonian Film Agency, the Film Centre Serbia, the Film Centre in Montenegro, and BH Telecom.
