US President Donald Trump has not wasted his claim that French President Emmanuel Macron’s unexpected departure from the G7 summit was motivated by efforts to mediate a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

Trump denounced the claim as completely false and dismissed it as a typical Macron overreach. “President Emmanuel Macron, who seeks French propaganda, mistakenly said I had left the G7 summit… working on a ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Iran,” he said. Posted X. “I’m wrong! He doesn’t know why I’m on my way to Washington, but that certainly has nothing to do with a ceasefire. It’s much bigger than that. Emmanuel always makes it wrong, whether intentional or not.

Speaking to a Canadian reporter, Macron had hinted that the US would put pressure on Israel to engage in negotiations. “Things may change because the US had guaranteed they would find a ceasefire, so they could put pressure on Israel,” he said. He said frankly.

“That’s painful for both parties.”

Trump didn’t buy it. He said his early exits were far more important and were driven by urgent developments. Before arriving on the Marines, he warned Tehran residents to evacuate, saying, “It’s painful for both parties, but Iran hasn’t won this war. They should talk about it, and just before it’s too late.”

White House officials later revealed that the US military remained defensive during the operation.

Macron’s comments followed G7 leaders’ disagreement with the publication of a joint statement on the escalating conflict. Canada and several European countries have tried to draft a unified response to denounce violence, but Trump refused to commit the US.

Rift has highlighted the rising tensions and inconsistencies within the alliance, which normally supports Israel, but has recently grown to be deeply drawn into Middle Eastern escalation.

Fractious Exchange only emphasizes deepening the division between Trump and Macron. Trump’s swift rebuttal, the leader’s proposal that Washington played a peace-making role, reflects the expansion of the Bay on their respective stories, and perhaps their agenda. Trump’s trip home is now gaining weight.

Famous failure

Trump’s trip home is now gaining weight. He argues that it is about emergency national security projects. But Macron’s argument rests on the summit. This is a prominent failure that Trump seized to emphasize his own “take it, take it all” approach to the truth, Macron made a mistake and Trump “continue tuning.”

That “message” may resonate with his base, but the diplomacy raises unpleasant questions about the trust and unity among world leaders.

It reminds me that if the G7 becomes a united front during a period of turbulence, not everyone is reading from the same script.

One thing is clear: Drama His departure consumed the official summit agenda item. Trump wants to shine a spotlight on Iran and Israel. Macron is the first to want diplomacy. However, as both men dig deeper, the rest of the G7 remains picked up pieces of the broken story, as the Middle East burns brighter and more fiery.
