“I’ll look at it,” the president said, adding that the trial “seems to be a bit like a railroad job.”

On May 28, President Donald Trump said he looked into whether the president’s pardon was appropriate for a man convicted of a 2020 lure conspiracy targeting Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and answered questions from Detroit News reporters in the oval office.

“They were drinking and I think they said something stupid. I’ll see that,” Trump said in any way without committing. “And a lot of people are asking me that question from both sides.”
