The Pittsburgh Steelers are pleased to move forward with Mason Rudolph as their starting quarterback in an event against Aaron Rodgers’ return to the field.
According to NFL insider Dan Graziano, the Steelers are happy with Rudolph as QB1 if Rodgers decides to call it after 20 seasons in the league.
However, Rogers recently dropped a big hint that he is about to sign with the Steelers in a public Q&A at an event hosted by rapper Mike Stud.
Fans asked the 41-year-old if he’d ever played for the Chicago Bears, and said no about it, but admitted he could play for Windy City on this year’s road trip.

Rogers is delaying his decision due to personal issues. As he recently revealed Joe Rogan’s experience, there are people nearby who deal with health issues.

The best QB of all time is undoubtedly away from the worst season of his career after throwing 28 touchdowns against 11 interceptions with the New York Jets, 5-12 in 2024.
He must prove he can compete at the highest level in the NFL, especially following the devastating Achilles heel tears of 2023. The Jets offense, led by Rodgers, finished 24th in yards per game last year, earning points per game.
Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to Super Bowl glory in the 2010 season, earning the league MVP four times in 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021.
He has led the NFL in many important categories over the years, including:

There is no doubt about Rogers’ greatness, but whether he can still reach those heights is a completely different matter. His age is catching up to him. His body and Steelers are ready to move forward with Rudolph in the case of a U-turn.
If Rodgers retreats, the Steelers
Rodgers’ intention to sign with the Steelers has become the league’s worst secret this offseason, but if Pittsburgh doesn’t happen he won’t lose sleep.
In March, the Steelers agreed to a two-year deal with Rudolf, bringing the previous third-round pick back to the fold after a season with the Tennessee Titans.
Two QBS members, Justin Fields and Russell Wilson, who left for Pittsburgh last year, both moved to the Big Apple. They joined the New York Jets and New York Giants respectively.
In the final season of his first spell with the Steelers, Rudolf took over the starting job later this year, finishing his team 3-0 to advance to the postseason.
The 29-year-old is 8-4-1 in his Steelers career, but in Tennessee’s only season he went 1-4 in five starts when he stepped into the injured Will Reevis.
Rudolf played eight games for the Titans last season, completing 686 passes attempts (63.7%) with 1,530 yards, nine touchdowns and nine interceptions.
