UFC heavyweight champion John Jones has joined social media, revealing that he told the UFC in an ongoing story of a superfight with Tom Aspinel.
The Jones vs Aspinel fight has been talked about at length for months, but fans are not close to finding out whether the UFC heavyweight title fight will actually happen.
John Jones offers updates for the Battle of Tom Aspinel
UFC heavyweight king John Jones enjoys his long holiday in Thailand, but he took him to social media and updated his fans with a talk of an ongoing superfight with Tom Astinor.
Ever since defeating Stipe Miocic on his first UFC heavyweight title defense in November, MMA fans have been hoping for a fight between Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall.
UFC President Dana White has confirmed many times that a fight will occur by the end of the year, but has yet to come close to a fight that has been announced or signed.
Currently, “Bones” is responding to some fans online who are providing updates on the potential battle of Aspinall.
Jones vs Aspinall Clash’s Talk of the Talk of the Aspinall Clash must point out that it is almost boring and that true progress in negotiations has not progressed at all.
Widely regarded as the greatest MMA fighter of all time, Jones has blown up the UFC on social media, claiming that the promotion has yet to properly “share” his plans with his fans.
These plans are another question, but Jones’ recent social media posts certainly caused quite a stir.
It remains to be seen whether we will see John Jones vs Tom Aspinel by the end of the year. As of today, fans are not wise in either way.
Yal Birkin raised the wrong tree and I told the UFC to my old plans. I don’t know why they haven’t shared it with you yet. https://t.co/sb4gpaqlzu

Jones: “I told the UFC my plans a long time ago.”
With an ongoing superfight talk between John Jones and Tom Aspinel, “Bones” shed a bit of light on the situation for the first time from his own perspective.
In countless interviews, Aspinall states that Jones’ showdown is the only battle he wants. He was patiently waiting for his fight as interim champion, but at that point he had yet to have the opportunity to share the Octagon with the greatest and greatest of all time.
Many fans are asking Jones to face aspinel or simply open his belt. Putting it to Jones by fans of X (formerly Twitter), the two division UFC champions responded:
“Yal barked the wrong tree and I’ve been telling the UFC my plans for a long time. I have no clue why they haven’t shared them with you.”
“Bones” is already determined and appears to have told Dana White and the UFC about their plans for the future.
Whether this is a showdown with Tom Aspinall is still unseen. It could be retirement, or something completely different.
It appears that an official announcement about the Jones vs Aspinel battle is needed this week. MMA fans are tired right now and need answers.
