Anthony Edwards Calls Out Minnesota Fans For Boos As Timberwolves Poor Form Continues

This season wasn’t the same for the Minnesota Timberwolves after reaching last year’s Western Conference Finals.

Minnesota booed at home

The Timberwolves’ form was so bad earlier this year that during their latest defeat against Sacramento, Boo squealed through the target center court.

The loss to the Kings was Minnesota’s 10th time of the season, and after starting the year in the same way that ended 2023, the cracks began to show.

It’s not surprising that fans are in the Timberwolves as they’ve only won two of the last nine games, but the season still has a long way to go and this could just turn into a shape.

Anthony Edwards has risen in rank over the past few seasons, and as the leader of this young wolf team, “Ant-Man” has not been impressed with fans booing his side.

“It’s obvious. The team can see it, I can see it, the coach can see it. The fans will boo us.

However, it wasn’t just the fans that Edwards spoke to. His “soft” teammates also had strong words after the Kings’ loss.

“We’ve been trying to understand this for the first year guy. We thought defense was our identity and it wasn’t at all. Identity, me and Mike (Conley) were talking about this.

Anthony Edwards kept it when he asked him about his team’s defense. He said the team’s identity was “we’re as soft as hell.” pic.twitter.com/a9p9mf4nx0

Edwards himself has not disappointed his team as the two All-Stars averaged 28.1 points per game.
