The Yankees were finally able to get one back for the Dodgers this week, with New York chasing 3-1 in the World Series after a dominant performance in New York in Game 4.
The Yankees will live on
A stimulating victory on Tuesday night gave the Yankees hope in the 2024 World Series, but tonight he’s back at Dodger Stadium to chase the Dodgers in two games.
Their first victory in the series was an emphasis when it finally came, with the Yankees crushing opponents 11-4 on everyone’s relief at New York Stadium.
Austin Wells and Greyber Torres both scored home runs, but they really sealed New York’s victory with Anthony Volpe, who won the third Grand Slam.

“We’ve been through this all year long,” Volpe said. “We’re not going to get off at all easily.”
Volpe made history for MLB with victory and became the first player to record four RBIs and two steels in one World Series game.
Freddie Freeman and Will Smith were able to score HR on losses, but the Yankees dominated from start to finish and avoided a sweep so they weren’t threatened by victory.
Of course, the Dodgers may have never tried hard in Game 4 last night.
I feel that New York’s victory may just delay the inevitable as the Yankees appear to be the first team in MLB history to overturn a 3-0 deficit in the World Series.
They will win the latest new champion by Saturday, but it’s hard to see the Dodgers losing at home on Wednesday night after dominating the first two games of the series.
