Mahindra XUV 3XO launch today: What to expect from the facelifted XUV300

Mahindra & Mahindra are all set to launch the much-awaited XUV 3XO in India today. While the SUV has a modern nomenclature, it is essentially a facelifted version of the popular XUV 300. Mahindra XUV 3XO: Design facelift

The XUV 3XO has a significantly modernized look compared to its predecessor. As seen in the teasers released by the company, the SUV will feature a restyled front fascia with a redesigned front grille with chrome inserts, updated headlamps and daytime running lights. The whole is complemented by a modified tailgate with a connected LED lamp – a feature that is becoming more and more popular in the Indian car market. Other notable features include an integrated spoiler, high-mount brake lithe, and more. You can also expect newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels.

Step into the XUV 3XO and you’ll find a completely renovated cabin. We can expect a modern dashboard layout with styling cues from the XUV 400 and equipped with a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. The teaser also shows three-spoke steering wheels with several switches. Other changes will include modern upholstery options, a enormous dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a modern 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and more.
Other expected features include wireless phone charging, automatic headlights with wipers, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine Options
In terms of engine options, the XUV 3XO will retain its current configuration with three engines to choose from: 1.5-litre turbodiesel with 115 PS and 300 Nm of torque, 1.2-litre turbodiesel with 110 PS and 200 Nm of torque Nm and the Turbosport variant developing 130 HP and 230 Nm of torque provided by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Transmission options are expected to remain a 6-speed manual or AMT automatic. Interestingly, in the teaser, the company also provided mileage details of the SUV. The 3XO will have a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.1 kmpl.
