Modern Delhi: About 94 percent of Indian service professionals using artificial intelligence (AI) said the technology helps them save time, a novel report revealed on Monday.
According to Salesforce, a major enterprise software specialist, about 89 percent of service professionals in organizations using AI said the technology helps them reduce costs.
“As customer expectations boost, the benefits of AI are clear – increased productivity, cost reduction and improved customer service,” said Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, Managing Director, Sales, Salesforce India.
“AI and data are driving higher levels of customer experience, and AI is proving its value across a variety of exploit cases, delivering unparalleled value to customers while unlocking revenue opportunities,” he added.
More than 5,500 service professionals in 30 countries, including 300 from India, participated in the report.
Moreover, the report shows that 93 percent of service organizations in the country plan to boost their investment in artificial intelligence this year.

The three most common exploit cases of artificial intelligence in the country include: automatic summaries and reports, smart offers and recommendations, and the creation of knowledge articles.
Additionally, the report revealed that about 79 percent of organizations in the country expect services to generate more revenue this year.
While 85 percent of service organizations expect a larger budget this year, about 80 percent expect more staffing this year.
