The huge news in the 2025 Ram 1500 off-road pickup trucks is, of course, the novel RHO with a TRX body and suspension, but a lower price and a Hurricane engine. But this isn’t the only Ram 1500 that’s just been revealed with a penchant for dirt. It released two other versions for two different purposes and price points. Among them is the Rebel X, which, compared to the regular Rebel, adds additional features that escalate comfort and off-road capabilities. And then there’s Warlock, which is a continuation of last year’s game but with a novel six.
2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X
The Rebel X is the top-of-the-range Rebel model and is celebrating the nameplate’s 10th anniversary. It is based on the Rebel Level 2 equipment group, which includes features such as a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, passenger-side infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, heated front and rear seats, heated wheels, dual phone charging and 19 -Harman Kardon speaker system sound among many others. It then adds a number of additional features, including novel cruise control for scratchy roads. In addition to maintaining speed on dirt roads, it also constantly adjusts suspension damping and steering load as needed. It sounds like it could be a low-speed feature, similar to Toyota’s crawl control or Ford’s trail control, but Ram didn’t go into detail about it. 2025 Ram 1500 Wizard
The Ram 1500 Warlock is also changed. As before, this is an affordable option that offers some of the Rebel’s basic upgrades, but without a number of fancier features that drive up the price. So it got a 1-inch suspension lift and a skid plate, as well as plenty of black accents, including dual exhaust tips. However, it does have 18-inch wheels, a basic 8.4-inch infotainment screen, physical instrument dials, and a cloth front bench. However, it still has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring. Options include heated front seats, a spray-in bedliner and side steps. Under the hood is the base Hurricane engine with 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque.
